What is capillary PRP?
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is a natural therapy that uses your own blood to stimulate hair follicles. A small amount of blood is drawn, centrifuged to concentrate the platelets and growth factors, then reinjected into the scalp with fine needles.
How does it work?
Platelets contain numerous growth factors (PDGF, VEGF, EGF, IGF) that stimulate dormant follicles, increase local blood flow, and extend the hair growth phase (anagen). The result: thicker, denser, more resistant hair.
What do studies say?
Multiple clinical studies published since 2015 demonstrate PRP effectiveness: average +30% to +50% density after 3-6 sessions in early and moderate alopecia. The technique is recognized by the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS).
Who is PRP for?
- Men and women with early-stage hair loss (Norwood 1-3, Ludwig I-II)
- Post-partum or reactive telogen effluvium
- Complementary treatment after an FUE transplant to accelerate regrowth
- Stress-related or seasonal thinning
Phoenix Hair protocol
We recommend 3 sessions one month apart, then a maintenance session every 6 months. Each session lasts 45 minutes, with immediate social recovery. No downtime.
PRP + transplant: the winning combo
When combined with an FUE transplant, PRP accelerates regrowth, improves graft survival and boosts final density. It's the gold standard at Phoenix Hair Paris.
